2023-24 Europa League: €8.8m to €45.7m minimum for clubs in the Round of 16 (excluding market pool)

The 16 clubs that qualify for the Round of 16 of the 2023-24 Europa League, which takes place on 07/03/2024 (first leg) and 14/03/2024 (second legs), will each receive a minimum of €8.8m from UEFA. This amount does not include the €139.5m divided between the 32 clubs in the group stage according to the size of the television market in each country (market pool), nor, of course, the matchday revenues generated by the games.

While Brighton & Hove Albion FC (Premier League) will receive €8.8m if they are eliminated by AS Roma (Serie A TIM), AC Milan (Serie A TIM) are already guaranteed €45.7m. The Lombardy club are ahead of SL Benfica (LALIGA EA Sports, €45.4m) and Bayer 04 Leverkusen (Bundesliga, €13.5m) in terms of the sums accumulated since the start of the European cup season (see below).
