Netflix: exclusive live broadcast of a boxing match between Jake Paul & Mike Tyson on 20/07/2024

Netflix will broadcast the boxing match between influencer and professional boxer Jake Paul and former professional boxer Mike Tyson, announced the streaming platform on 07/03/2024.

The bout is scheduled to take place at AT&T Stadium (Arlington, Texas, USA) on Saturday 20/07/2024. "Additional information, including the co-main event and undercards, will be announced at a later date," said Netflix.

This will be the third sporting event to be broadcast live and exclusively by the platform, following the Netflix Cup on 14/11/2023 and the Netflix Slam on 03/03/2024. The platform has also acquired the exclusive rights to broadcast WWE Raw wrestling events (held every Monday night) in several international territories from January 2025, on 23/01/2024. The contract runs for 10 years and is worth a total of $5bn (€4.6bn), according to American media. The territories covered by the agreement are the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Latin America, as well as "other territories, with additional countries and regions to be added over time."
