Women's football: "No more sticking points for signing of a collective agreement" (J-M. Aulas, FFF)

"I am committed to ensuring that a collective agreement for women's football exists before the effective creation of a professional league, i.e. by 01/07/2024. I met with the UNFP today and I am convinced that we will be able to find solutions, perhaps even before that deadline. After today's meeting, there are no longer any sticking points. We have found solutions. All that remains is to get them approved by the respective unions," said Jean-Michel Aulas, vice-president of the Fédération Française de Football, on 08/03/2024.

Aulas, who is also president of the FFF's high-level women's football committee, reacted to the adoption by Foot Unis and the U2C2F of an "employers' recommendation granting protective guarantees in terms of health, pregnancy and maternity for 1^st and 2^nd division women's football players with effect from 01/07/2024" pending the establishment of a collective agreement in due and proper form on 01/03/2024.
