Streaming platform Netflix will not be producing a third season of the behind-the-scenes documentary series "Break Point" on the ATP and WTA tours, following those of 2022 and 2023, according to British daily The Times on 11/03/2024.

Netflix is said to have decided to stop due to a "lack of access" to the sport's main stars, such as Serbian Novak Djokovic and Spaniard Rafael Nadal, and lower audience ratings than for similar series, such as the Formula 1 series Drive to Survive (six seasons) and the golf series Full Swing (PGA Tour, two seasons), according to The Times.

The platform's decision comes as 'The Netflix Slam', an exhibition match between Spanish professional tennis players Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal (6-3, 4-6, 14-12), ranked as the number one most viewed programme on Netflix in Spain on Sunday 03/03/2024 (number 7 in the United States). The match was held at the Michelob Ultra Arena (12,000 capacity), located near the Mandala Bay hotel in Las Vegas (Nevada, USA).
