Tennis/Belgium: Telenet extends TV rights for the ATP Tour & Hologic WTA Tour (2024-2026)

The Belgian private broadcasting group Telenet has extended its exclusive rights to broadcast the ATP Tour and the Hologic WTA Tour in Belgium for its Play Sports pay-TV bouquet for the 2024-2026 cycle, it announced on 11/03/2024.

"More than 1,000 hours of tennis will be broadcast live each year on Play Sports," said Telenet. Play Sports will broadcast the Rolex Monte Carlo Masters and Rolex Paris Masters (ATP Masters 1000) as well as the WTA Masters 1000 Tour. "There will also be coverage of WTA and ATP 500 matches.

The private pay-TV group BeTV also holds the rights to broadcast the ATP Tour in Belgium. The pay-TV group Eurosport (Warner Bros. Discovery) holds the rights to broadcast the Australian Open (until 2031), Wimbledon (since 2015) and the US Open (2023-2027) in this territory, while French-language public broadcaster RTBF (Radio-Télévision Belge Francophone) owns the rights to Roland-Garros.
