L'Équipe Group: Rolf Heinz (former president & CEO of Prisma Media) named CEO from 06/01/2024

Germany's Rolf Heinz, president and CEO of the Prisma Media group from 2009 to 2021, has been appointed CEO of the L'Équipe group with effect from 01/06/2024, announced Groupe Amaury, owner of the sports media group, on 13/03/2024.

"Rolf Heinz's main task will be to develop all L'Équipe group's media activities and brands across all media, in terms of content, technological innovation and customer experience. He is also in charge of the company's growth and diversification strategy up to 2030. As a member of the Groupe Amaury executive committee, Rolf Heinz will report directly to Aurore Amaury and Jean-Etienne Amaury," explained the group.

Heinz will replace Aurore Amaury, the group's interim CEO since November 2023. Amaury, who is also president L'Équipe, took up this temporary position following the departure of Laurent Prud'homme, who was group CEO from March 2021 to November 2023, before being appointed CEO of Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Uber Eats).
