Real Betis Balompié: a series of public information sessions on the stadium renovation project

Real Betis Balompié (LALIGA EA Sports) is conducting a series of public information sessions from 11 to 25/03/2024 as part of its project to renovate the Estadio Benito Villamarín (Seville, ESP), announced the club on 13/03/2024.

The meetings, held in the neighborhood where the stadium is located, are aimed at "residents, parents, shopkeepers, people who work in the surrounding area and environmental groups," said Real Betis, which owns the stadium. The sessions present "the impact of the project on the area in terms of the environment and transport, as well as the expected duration of the works. The aim is to minimize any inconvenience the work may cause."

The renovation of the Estadio Benito Villamarín, to be carried out by Spanish architect Rafael de la-Hoz and American studio Gensler, is due to begin in January 2025 and take two years to complete. The stadium's capacity will remain virtually unchanged, increasing from the current 60,721 to 60,379.
