"If the two clubs (FC Inter Milan and AC Milan, Serie A TIM) announced that they were no longer interested in the San Siro Stadium, I could never imagine leaving it abandoned. I would try other solutions. I've already been in contact with two or three multinationals with whom I have ongoing relations. Live music is a very important business and they would be interested," said Giuseppe Sala, Mayor of Milan (Lombardy, ITA) in 'Cose in Comune' ('Common ground'), a new weekly programme he hosts on the social network Instagram, on 13/03/2024.

The Stadio Giuseppe-Meazza (another name for the stadium) "is dilapidated, but we can improve it enormously. It makes a lot of sense to work on San Siro, because it's a historic stadium for football, it's well located and in the eyes of the Milanese, it's their home," said Sala.
