RC Lens: an audio description service at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis until end of the 2023-24 season

RC Lens (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) has launched an audio description service for the visually impaired and blind at its home games at Stade Bollaert-Delelis (Lens, Pas-de-Calais, FRA) until the end of the 2023-24 season, announced the club on 15/03/2024.

This initiative, led by Racing Cœur de Lens, the club's endowment fund, is being introduced after "conclusive tests in previous seasons". Audio description at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis consists of "two commentators in charge of providing a description adapted to the smallest details of the match," explained the club. The service is free of charge, subject to equipment availability.

The headset must be collected from the stadium ticket office from the time it opens before the match and until 45 minutes after the final whistle.
