National 1: Formula 1 driver Pierre Gasly (FRA) becomes a minority shareholder of FC Versailles

French Formula 1 driver Pierre Gasly (BWT Alpine F1 Team) has become the "third partner owner" of FC Versailles (National 1), announced the club on 18/03/2024.

Pierre Gasly is a minority shareholder in the club alongside Alexandre Mulliez and Fabien Lazare, who bought FCV in June 2023 for €1.5m with a commitment to contribute a further €1.5m in additional funds. Alexandre Mulliez, president of FC Versailles, is a member of the Mulliez family, majority shareholders in Auchan (supermarkets) and Decathlon (design and distribution of sports goods).

"Pierre's decision to invest in FC Versailles attests to his desire to engage in a long-term development project for the club and to contribute to its success.
