“It will be easier logistically for them to pull it off. It would be difficult for us to have one team in Europe. We’d have to put both feet down. That would mean having four franchises in Europe,” said Adam Silver, commissioner of the NBA (National Basketball Association, USA-CAN), during the pre-game press conference between the Milwaukee Bucks and the New York Knicks at the London O2 Arena (ENG) on 15/01/2015.

The NBA has held seven regular season games outside the United States and Canada since 1990. Two games were scheduled and played abroad in 2014-15: Houston Rockets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves in Mexico City (MEX) on 12/12/2014 and Milwaukee Bucks vs. New York Knicks at the O2 Arena in London (ENG) on 15/01/2015.
