FIFA: $1.17bn in 2023 revenue (€1.06bn) & $1.748bn (€1.58bn) in investments

"FIFA's revenue in the first year of the 2023-2026 cycle amounted to $1.170bn (€1.06bn as of 31/12/2023), 23% of which came from television broadcasting rights, 39% from marketing rights, 15% from licensing rights, 7% from hospitality rights and tickets, and 16% from other revenue and income," announced the International Football Federation on 19/03/2024.

2023 was the first year of the 2023-2026 quadrennial cycle, which will end, as always, at the end of the year in which the Men's World Cup is held (in Canada, Mexico and the United States in 2026).

"It exceeded the budget by a significant 45% ($363m/€329m) and was 53% higher ($404m/€366m) than in 2019, the equivalent year of the previous cycle. FIFA is well on track to reach its budgeted total revenue of $11bn for the 2023-2026 cycle," said the body.

"FIFA's total investment in the first year of the 2023-2026 cycle amounted to $1.748bn (€1.583bn), exceeding the annual budget figure by $22m (€20m)," added FIFA.
