FIFA: a gross annual salary of CHF 4.11m (€4.42m) for Gianni Infantino in 2023

Gianni Infantino (ITA/SUI), who has been president of FIFA since 26/02/2016, received a gross annual salary of CHF 4,113,710 in 2023 (or €4,428,286 at 31/12/2023), according to the International Federation, which published the information in its Annual Report 2023 on 19/03/2024, "as part of FIFA's statutory commitment to transparency."

This remuneration, which corresponds to a gross monthly salary of CHF342,809 (€369,024), consists of two elements:
• An annual base salary of CHF 2,463,710(€2,652,110)
• A variable salary of CHF 1,650,000 (€1,776,176)

Added to this are CHF 24,000 (€25,835) in lump-sum allowances, according to FIFA, who stated: "following the re-election of the FIFA president at the 73ʳᵈ FIFA Congress in Kigali, Rwanda, on 17/03/2023 for the 2023-2027 period, the Compensation Sub-Committee approved the gross salary (base) of CHF 2,600,000 (€2.8m) for the FIFA president."
