2030 World Cup: "YallaVamos 2030" the slogan for the joint Morocco-Portugal-Spain bid

The joint bid by Morocco (FRMF), Portugal (FPF) and Spain (RFEF), the sole contender to host the 2030 World Cup, has presented its "YallaVamos 2030 slogan" at the headquarters of the Portuguese Football Federation at the Cidade do Futebol in Lisbon (POR) on 19/03/2024. Yalla, in Arabic, and vamos, in Spanish and Portuguese, mean "let's go".

"Under the mission to build a tournament 'for football, for the world and for tomorrow', the bid slogan 'YallaVamos' encompasses the three host languages and represents the goal of proactively working to grow football across the globe. If the bid is successful, the FIFA World Cup will, for the first time in its 100-year history (first staged in Uruguay in 1930), be held on two continents. In this context, the bid places particular emphasis on building bridges between cultures, providing a welcoming environment for visitors from all backgrounds and leaving a lasting legacy in the areas of sustainability, innovation, investment and social impact," said the bid committee.
