Newcastle United: Quidd (NFT marketplace) "first digital collectible partner" from 2023-24

Quidd, a digital collectibles and NFT marketplace and subsidiary of the Hong Kong-based game software company and venture capital company Animoca Brands, has become an official partner of Newcastle United FC (Premier League) as part of a "multi-year" agreement from the 2023-24 season, announced the club on 20/03/2024.

As part of the agreement, Quidd becomes the club's "first official digital collectible partner" (second level). The deal will "provide Newcastle United supporters around the world with the opportunity to build and trade collections of officially licensed digital trading cards, digital video moments, and digital memorabilia on Quidd while unlocking a number of exclusive experiences."

Newcastle United's first series of digital trading cards developed in collaboration with the sports trading card company Leaf, will be released on the Quidd marketplace at 14:00 (GMT) on Thursday 28/03/2024.
