Spain: Atresmedia acquires free-to-air rights to 3 MotoGP races during the 2024 season

Spanish broadcasting group Atresmedia has acquired the free-to-air broadcasting rights to three MotoGP World Championship races for the 2024 season in Spain, announced circuit organiser Dorna Sports on 25/03/2024.

These rights were acquired under sub-licence from the OTT platform DAZN. DAZN extended its exclusive full broadcasting rights to MotoGP races in Spain for the 2023-2027 cycle, on 11/10/2022. DAZN also held these rights for the 2019-2022 cycle.

Atresmedia will broadcast the Spanish Grand Prix (26-28/04/2024), the Catalan Grand Prix (ESP, 24-26/05/2024) and the Valencia Grand Prix (ESP, 15-17/11/2024) on its free-to-air channel La Sexta and on its OTT platform atresplayer. The agreement also includes the Moto2 and Moto3 races.
