"The Pinault family, who own the club, are from Brittany, and when you listen to François-Henri Pinault talk about Stade Rennais FC (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), you realise that it is in no way a money-making business. Having a local owner is an incredible opportunity, as is having members of the management team from the area," said Jacques Delanoë, chairman of the board of directors at Stade Rennais FC, on 26/03/2024.

Jacques Delanoë spoke at Sport Unlimitech Rennes 2024, a BtoB event dedicated to Sportech, during a talk entitled "Stade Rennais: building a club with a strong identity", at the Couvent des Jacobins in Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine, FRA).

"When it comes to social impact, we are mainly concerned with our local area. Before, we did it informally, almost discreetly, without talking about it. But now we're putting the spotlight on our actions, in particular the 'Bouge!' (Move!) programme, which aims to combat a sedentary lifestyle through initiatives in local schools.
