UEFA Euro 2024: 2^nd "UEFA ticket app" test with 5,000 RB Leipzig (Bundesliga) season ticket holders

UEFA is continuing its collaboration with RB Leipzig (Bundesliga) to test the "UEFA ticket app", its 100% digital ticketing solution, when they host FSV 05 Mainz (Bundesliga) at the Red Bull Arena (Leipzig, GER) on Saturday 30/03/2024, announced the club on 26/03/2024.

During the match, 5,000 RB Leipzig season ticket holders will use the UEFA application instead of the existing 100% digital ticketing system that the club has been offering since 2020. Those taking part in the test will receive a free drink at the stadium.

This is the second test conducted by UEFA in Leipzig, following one organised on 11/03/2023, which was based on the voluntary participation of fans. A third test is scheduled for May 2024, when the Red Bull Arena (47,069 capacity) hosts Werder Bremen in RB Leipzig's final home game of the season.

The European Confederation wishes to continue testing its new system and offer it to spectators at Euro 2024, to be held in Germany from 14/06 to 14/07/2024, during which four matches will be played at the Red Bull Arena. The stadium had previously been used for Champions…
