AliExpress, an e-commerce platform belonging to the Chinese Alibaba Group, has become a global sponsor (first level) of Euro 2024, to be held in Germany from 14/06 to 14/07/2024, announced UEFA on 27/03/2024. The agreement was negotiated by the Swiss agency CAA Eleven.

As part of the agreement, AliExpress has been given the status of "official e-commerce platform partner" of Euro 2024 and will be ranked first in the sponsorship hierarchy of the competition alongside 13 other brands, including four companies based in China: the car manufacturer BYD, smartphone manufacturer Vivo, payment solutions provider Alipay (also owned by Alibaba Group) and household appliance manufacturer Hisense.

The two partners will be "offering interactive games and competitions for the opportunity to win great prizes, including match tickets," said UEFA, while fans will also be able to take advantage of "a combination of extraordinary discounts and deals on AliExpress Choice" said UEFA.
