Real Madrid CF: a turnover of €460.9m & net profit of €23.6m in the first half of 2023-24

Real Madrid CF (LALIGA EA Sports) posted a turnover of €460.9m at the end of the first half of the 2023-24 financial year (01/07/2023 to 31/12/2023), up 15% on the same period the previous year (€400.9m), according to financial statements published on the club's website in March 2024.

Three of the club's four sources of revenue are up:
• Matchday revenues rose from €60m to €94.5m, thanks in particular to the return to a capacity of 84,744 at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in August 2023, having been reduced to 62,500 for much of the 2022-23 season by renovation work;
• commercial revenues reached €180m, compared with €158.9m at 31/12/2022;
• TV rights revenues amounted to €92m, compared with €82m twelve months earlier.

Only competition-related revenues fell slightly, to €93.8m (€99.3m a year earlier).

At the end of the first half of the 2023-24 financial year, the Spanish club posted a net profit of €23.6m, down from €43.9m at the end of December 2022.
