MLS: Orlando City name Alexandre Leitao chief executive

The MLS (Major League Soccer, USA-CAN) expansion franchise Orlando City SC have named the Brazilian Alexandre Leitao as their chief executive, the club announced on 21/01/2015.

Since the position was vacant, the appointment takes effect immediately. Alexandre Leitao, 41 years old, will oversee business operations and development for Orlando City as it prepares for its debut MLS season, which begins in March 2015. Leitao will report to the Englishman Phil Rawlins, the founder and president of the Florida-based club.
