FC Augsburg 1907: mandate of managing director Michael Ströll extended until 30/06/2029

Michael Ströll, managing director of FC Augsburg 1907 (Bundesliga) since September 2023, has had his mandate extended until 30/06/2029, announced the club on 29/03/2024.

"The 39-year-old sports economist, who himself laced up his boots for FCA's 2^nd team, started as a trainee at the then second division club in 2006 and was responsible for various departments at the club. In 2013, the native of Upper Palatinate (Bavaria, GER) was promoted to management as an authorised signatory and was appointed commercial director in 2016. Since the retirement of Stefan Reuter in September 2023, Michael Ströll has had overall responsibility at FC Augsburg," said the German club.

"Michael Ströll has played a key role in shaping and shaping the development of FC Augsburg over the past 15 years, which has been an absolute success story. He is characterised by the fact that he always acts in the interests of our club with great foresight. FC Augsburg is now a stable Bundesliga club that is structurally very well positioned and in excellent financial health," said Markus Krapf, president of the club.
