OL Groupe: exclusive discussions with J-M. Aulas' holding company for the sale of the LDLC Arena

"Exclusive, confidential discussions have been initiated with Holnest (family office owned by Jean-Michel Aulas) with a view to the sale of all shares in OL Vallée Arena (the company operating the LDLC Arena)," announced OL Group on 02/04/2024.

The exclusivity period for these discussions, authorised by the group's board of directors, which also owns Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), runs "until 31/05/2024. Closing is subject to the fulfillment of usual conditions precedent," explained OL Groupe. The company is majority-owned by Eagle Football Holdings Bidco Limited, which is controlled by American John Textor.

The LDLC Arena, an event venue located at OL Vallée (Décines-Charpieu, FRA) and entirely financed by OL Groupe, was inaugurated on the occasion of the 2023-24 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague game between LDLC ASVEL (Betclic Élite), the resident club, and FC Bayern Basketball (easyCredit BBL), on 23/11/2023.
