"OL Groupe" changes its name to become "Eagle Football Group" (EFG) effective since 31/03/2024

OL Groupe, which notably owns Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), has changed its corporate name to "Eagle Football Group", according to the company on 02/04/2024. This change has been effective since 31/03/2024.

The proposed name change was approved at the annual general meeting on 11/12/2023. As a result, the denomination and mnemonic of the shares listed on Euronext Paris are now as follows: Eagle Football Group (replacing OL Groupe) and EFG (replacing OLG).

"Olympique Lyonnais, the football club owned by Eagle Football Group, retains its historic name," added the company bought by American John Textor, via his company Eagle Football Holdings Bidco Limited, on 19/12/2022.
