Lega Serie A: extended agreement with Panini, namer of the new Serie A TIM "man of the match" award

Italian trading card and sticker manufacturer Panini has extended its licensing agreement with Lega Serie A to sell stickers and collectables beyond the 2023-24 season, announced the governing body following its general assembly on 29/03/2024.

As part of this renewed partnership, the Italian brand will also lend its name to the "Premio Man of the Match", a new trophy created to reward the best player in each of the 380 Serie A TIM matches from the 2024-25 season onwards. The winner will be chosen by the fans using a QR Code, and will be presented with his or her trophy at the end of the match.

Another award presented by the Italian League has a title partner: the Philadelphia Coach of the Month award, sponsored by the spreadable cheese brand Philadelphia (Mondelēz International) since December 2023.

• As part of its licensing agreement with Lega Serie A, Panini has unveiled an album of 697 stickers dedicated to the Serie A TIM, Serie BKT and Serie A Femminile eBay, on 08/01/2024.
