Brighton & Hove Albion: a turnover of £204.5m & a record net profit of £122.8m in 2022-23

Brighton & Hove Albion FC (Premier League) posted a turnover of £204.5m (€237m) at the end of the 2022-23 financial year (from 01/07/2022 to 30/06/2023), up 17.2% on 2021-22 (£174.5m), according to the English club on 02/04/2024.

The club also posted a net profit of £122.8m (€142.3m), the highest ever recorded by an English club, according to British press. This result, five times higher than the previous year's (£24.1m), was boosted by Brighton & Hove Albion FC's best-ever season in sporting terms, which saw them finish sixth in the Premier League in 2022-23, thereby securing qualification for the group stage of the 2023-24 Europa League, and also reach the semi-finals of the Emirates FA Cup.

This record profit includes "the fees received for Alexis Mac Allister, Yves Bissouma and Marc Cucurella, as well as compensation for Graham Potter's move to Chelsea; but they do not include fees received for the sales of Moises Caicedo and Robert Sanchez, both of which were concluded after 30/06/2023, the end date for these accounts," explained the club.
