European Top 5: social media communities of the 96 clubs (April 2024)

• The clubs in the European Top 5 added 19.4 million new followers during the month of March 2024, taking their total to 2.64 billion on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X.
• Real Madrid CF (LALIGA EA Sports) is the club with the most followers with 366 million, ahead of FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports, 321 million) and Manchester United FC (Premier League, 209 million).
• Real Madrid was the club that experienced the best growth in its number of followers during the month of March with 1.7 million new followers.
• In percentage terms, UD Almería (LALIGA EA Sports) posted the best growth in its online community, with a 12.4% increase in its total number of followers.
• Arsenal FC became the 10^th club from one of the European Top 5 leagues with a total of more than 100 million followers, alongside four other club's from the Premier League, two from LALIGA EA Sports, one from the Ligue 1 Uber Eats, one from the Bundesliga and one from the Serie A TIM.
