The American investment firm Arctos has closed "Arctos Sports Partners Fund II", its second financing vehicle dedicated specifically to sport, after raising more than $4.1bn (€3.8bn), it announced on 02/04/2024.

"Strong investor demand" drove fund close "exceeding $2.5bn target, creating the largest pool of institutional capital dedicated exclusively to the asset class of professional sports," said the company founded in 2019 and based in Dallas (Texas, USA) about the fund, which has already enabled it to invest in Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), in which it has held a 12.5% stake since December 2023.

The $4.1bn in capital commitments come from "a diverse group of global investors, including some of the world’s leading pension funds, retirement systems, endowments, insurance companies, family offices and global wealth platforms, bringing Arctos' aggregate sports-related assets under management to approximately $7bn," said the investment firm.
