LALIGA EA Sports: FC Barcelona "first Spanish club" to open an account on the social network BeReal

FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports) has become "the first Spanish club" to open an account on the French social network BeReal, announced Barça on 04/04/2024.

Created in 2020, the platform "promotes more 'real' and spontaneous content. BeReal has more than 25 million users every day, 70% of whom are aged between 14 and 24," said the Catalan club. The move is "part of the club's mission to use the digital realm to connect with new audiences by offering quality entertainment content, with the Barça name having been particularly driven in this way since the launch of its Barça Identity area."

"FC Barcelona now has over 500 million followers of its social network, with Instagram leading the way (126 million users worldwide)," said the club.

Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga), Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), AFC Ajax (Eredivisie) and Club Brugge (Jupiler Pro League) are already present on BeReal.
