Spain/RFEF: presidential elections to be held on Monday 06/05/2024

The elections for the presidency of the Real Federacion Espanola de Futbol will take place on Monday 06/05/2024, stated the RFEF on 03/04/2024, before publishing the official invitation and a reminder of the electoral regulations on its website on 05/04/2024.

Candidates have five days from Sunday 07/04/2024 to put themselves forward, with each candidature needing the support of at least 15% of the 140 members of the Federal Assembly (each member may support only one candidate). "Thereafter, two days will be devoted to any appeals to the Administrative Court of Sport (TAD), after which the candidatures will be definitive," explained the Spanish Federation.
