Death of Nicolas Holveck: "A forward-thinking leader with a visionary approach" (V. Labrune, LFP)

"Nicolas Holveck was a respected leader who was appreciated by everyone throughout his career. Above all, from my point of view, he was a forward-thinking leader with a visionary approach, undoubtedly one of the strongest of his generation. He was a man of great values of friendship, honesty and ethics," said Vincent Labrune, president of the Ligue de Football Professionnel, following the announcement of the death of AS Nancy-Lorraine's (National 1) president, aged 52, on 04/08/2024.

"After a long battle with his illness, his death comes as a terrible shock to the entire world of professional football, of course, but also to his family, his wife and his children, to whom he was so close and whose thoughts are with us. On behalf of all of French professional football, I send my condolences to Nicolas Holveck's family and friends, as well as to AS Nancy-Lorraine," added Vincent Labrune.
