DAZN: Elena Novokreshchenova appointed "Global CEO of Freemium" of the OTT platform from April 2024

Elena Novokreshchenova has been appointed "Global CEO of Freemium" for the OTT sports platform DAZN from April 2024, announced the UK streaming service on 08/04/2024.

"Elena will lead the rollout of a new global free tier in DAZN, which will become a fundamental part of DAZN's offering and a key driver of business growth. By extending DAZN's reach beyond its premium paid subscription, freemium opens up new avenues for rights holders and users, enriching their experiences and broadening engagement opportunities," explained the platform.

The freemium services launched by DAZN will provide access to a variety of content, "including live events, video-on-demand, news, stats, archives, shoulder content, and social features". DAZN launched an initial freemium version of its application across all territories on 23/01/2024.
