Paris 2024: Sky/Warner Bros. Discovery agreement to distribute 10 Eurosport channels in Italy

Sky Italia has extended its partnership with the media and entertainment conglomerate Warner Bros. Discovery for the distribution of 10 Eurosport channels for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, announced the pay-TV operator on 09/04/2024.

"The two channels Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 will be joined by eight new channels entirely dedicated to the event - including one in 4K - on which many other sporting disciplines can be followed. In total, more than 1,000 hours of additional live coverage will be available on Sky and a wide range of content will also be available on demand. The agreement also includes a Eurosport 4K channel, which will go live on 26/05 for Roland-Garros (Grand Slam)," explained the operator.

Sky Italia had already renewed its agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery in July 2023 for the distribution of the discovery+ streaming platform on Sky's offerings, in addition to the Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 channels.
