AS Roma: a turnover of €221.1m & net loss of €102.7m in 2022-23

AS Roma (Serie A TIM) posted a turnover of €221.1m at the end of the 2022-23 financial year (from 01/07/2022 to 30/06/2023), an increase of 15% compared to 2021-22 (€191m), according to the financial statements published on the club's website on 09/04/2024.

Nearly half of this revenue was generated by TV rights, which amounted to €109.3m. The club's matchday revenues have risen sharply, from €25.5m in 2021-22 to €49.2m in 2022-23. This result is largely attributable to Roma's run to the final of the 2022-23 Europa League.

In addition, Roma posted a net loss of €102.7m, compared with a net loss of €219.1m in 2021-22. Roma's wage bill was €173m in 2022-23 (compared to €183.1m the previous year).
