RCD Mallorca: partnership with PreZero to make Son Moix "the first zero waste stadium in Spain"

RCD Mallorca (LALIGA EA Sports) is aiming to make the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix the "first zero waste stadium in Spain" in collaboration with German waste management company PreZero (Schwartz Group), announced the club on 11/04/2024. The brand will become an official partner (third level) of the stadium.

As part of the strategic partnership, the two parties will work to "to prevent and reduce waste generation at the Mallorcan club's stadium and create opportunities for reuse and recycling. The island of Mallorca, whose environmental targets are among the most ambitious in Europe, is an ideal place to define new environmental standards in sport," said the Spanish club.

A similar initiative has already been undertaken by TSG 1899 Hoffenheim (Bundesliga), for which PreZero is the title sponsor of the stadium (PreZero Arena). The stadium became the first in the German league to be certified 'zero waste' by the German Technischer Überwachungsverein on 04/05/2023.
