LFP: a new Ligue 2 BKT logo to be used from the 2024-25 season

The Ligue de Football Professionnel has unveiled the new logo for Ligue 2 BKT, which will be used from the 2024-25 season on 12/04/2024. The new logo "plays on the term L2, with an L embedded in the 2, which is revealed on a secondary reading level," said the governing body.

"This new logo will be part of a new architecture for the LFP's competition brands," said the Ligue, which also unveiled a new logo for Ligue 1 on 27/03/2024. The brand design agency Leroy Tremblot is behind these new brand identities. The Trophée des Champions and the eLigue 1, the LFP's official esports competition, will also benefit from a new visual identity to be unveiled "during the off-season".

• This new logo for Ligue 2 BKT coincides with the start of a new rights cycle for its title sponsor Balkrishna Industries Ltd., which extended its rights for a further four seasons, i.e. over the 2024-2028 cycle (for between €1.95m and €2.25m per season over the 2020-2024 cycle), on 14/06/2023.
