Olympique de Marseille: a second sports ground renovated as part of the "Capitale du Foot" project

Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) have renovated the Stade Julien Baudon, named in tribute to a deceased supporter and located "at the foot of Notre-Dame de-la-Garde" (Marseille, 6^th arrondissement), and inaugurated a football pitch there in the colours of the music label "D'Or et de Platine", the club's sleeve sponsor, on Saturday 13/04/2024.

"As a partner of the club and its "Treizième Homme" CSR programme, the label, d'Or et de Platine, owned by Marseille rapper Jul, has worked with the OM Foundation to bring this refurbishment to fruition, with a view to supporting social and solidarity initiatives aimed at young people. To enhance the appeal of the facility and give it its own identity, the pitch's design features the effigy of the Marseilles artist, thanks in particular to the artistic contribution of 'We Are Etendart'. Now operational, the pitch will host sporting and cultural activities provided by 'Treizième Homme' and 'We Are Etendart', as well as local associations, throughout the year," explained the French club.
