Bundesliga: €482.5m in matchday revenues in 2013-14 (+2.8%), an average of €26.8m per club

The 18 Bundesliga clubs generated matchday revenues of €482.5m in the 2013-14 season, an increase of 2.8% (€469.3m in 2012-13), according to the 2015 Bundesliga Economic and Financial Report, published by the DFL (German Professional Football League) on 22/01/2015. These matchday revenues, an average of €26.8m per club, make up 19.7% of the total 2013-14 income of these clubs.

The German championship attracted more than 13 million fans, including more than 7.68 million season ticket holders (58.9% of the total) during the 2013-14 season. The average attendance was 42,609. Borussia Dortmund had the best attendance in Europe in 2013-14 with an average turnout of 80,291 at Signal Iduna Park (80,645 seats).

The 2.Bundesliga (2^nd division) generated €87.2m of matchday revenue in 2013-14, an increase of 14.4% (€76.3m in 2012-13). The second division had an average turnout of 17,853 fans per game.
