Bundesliga: Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan becomes ambassador of the "Bundesliga Dream India" project

Indian actor Kartik Aaryan, and "Bollywood star", has become an ambassador for the "Bundesliga Dream India" programme, announced Bundesliga International, the DFL subsidiary responsible for promoting the German league abroad, on 15/04/2024.

"A Gen Z icon in India and the star of many blockbuster Indian films, Aaryan attended the national trials in Mumbai (India) last weekend (30 young players were selected out of the 192 trials). He will also work with the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga and promote the project across his various social media channels, which together have more than 44 million followers," explained Bundesliga International. "We believe that with his support, we can elevate the project to new levels," said Peer Naubert, chief marketing officer at Bundesliga International.

Bundesliga International entered into a partnership with BigHit, an application for detecting young players in India, to launch the "Bundesliga Dream India" project on 01/03/2024.
