FIFA: Mino Raiola, high profile player agent, considers standing for the presidency

"If possible, I myself will be running for president of FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association). It will not be easy, because the application rules are too strict, it is a failure of a democratic system, a kind of Freemasonry," stated Mino Raiola, the Dutch-Italian player agent, on 23/01/2015.

The deadline to become a candidate for the FIFA presidency at 29/01/2015, four months to the day before the election to be held during the FIFA Congress in Zurich (SUI) on 29/05/2015. Applicants must be officially supported by at least five of the 209 national federations affiliated to FIFA, and prove that he or she has been active in football for at least two of the last five years.
