Australia: Manchester City sponsor FXPRIMUS (trading), forms partnership with Melbourne City FC

The British broker FXPRIMUS, which specialises in forex (foreign exchange market), has formed a partnership with the Melbourne City FC (Hyundai A-League, Australian first division), announced the club on 22/1/2015. The company is also tied to Manchester City FC (Barclays Premier League) until the end of the 2017-18 season, 15/01/2015.

Melbourne City were acquired by a consortium led by Manchester City on 22/01/2014. Manchester City own 80% of the Australian club. The consortium also includes the group which owns Melbourne Storm, an NRL club (Australian Rugby League), which holds the remaining 20% of Melbourne City.

FXPRIMUS's partnership will principally consist of a visual presence on Melbourne City's various media communications. The company also gets a hospitality package.
