The "WNBA Draft presented by State Farm" 2024 drew an average of 2.45 million viewers, with a peak of 3.09 million on the channels of the American TV group ESPN (owned by The Walt Disney Company) in the United States on Monday 15/04/2024 (starting at 19:30 ET), according to data from the American institute Nielsen communicated by ESPN on 16/04/2023.

This is an all-time audience record for the event, and the highest audience ever for a WNBA event broadcast on ESPN. The audience is up 328% compared to the 2023 edition, which drew an average of 572,000 viewers on the American group's channels on Monday 10/04/2023 (start time: 19:00 ET). The audience was also 307% up on the previous record for the WNBA Draft on ESPN in 2004 (601,000 viewers).

During the draft, 22-year-old American Caitlin Clark was selected as first overall pick by the Indiana Fever franchise.
