AS Monaco FC: club players & employees made aware of the dangers of sports betting

AS Monaco FC (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) held a workshop for its players, youngsters at the training centre and employees to raise awareness of the risks associated with sports betting on Thursday 11/04, announced the club announced on 17/04/2024.

The event, organised in conjunction with the Ligue de Football Professionnel, UNFP and UNECATEF, was the brainchild of Daniel Bique, the club's legal director. "The aim was to raise awareness among all ASM members of the practice of sports betting, a prohibited practice in football," said the Monaco club.

"At a time when sports betting is playing an increasingly important role in society - with all the financial and addictive risks it can entail - we wanted to provide the same level of information to all the club's employees about the rules they must abide by," said Daniel Bique.
