Manchester City FC: completion of the Etihad Stadium expansion planned for 2025-26 (£300m/€340m)

Work to develop and expand the Etihad Stadium (Manchester, ENG) and the infrastructure surrounding the venue for Manchester City FC (Premier League) is due to be completed during the 2025-26 season, according to the club on 18/04/2024.

The project represents an investment of £300m (€340m) and aims to develop the stadium into "a world-class, year-round entertainment destination in the heart of East Manchester". It includes:
⚽️ an enlarged North Stand with a total capacity of 60,000 seats (compared to 53,480 at present);
⚽️ the creation of a covered area known as "City Square", including a 3,000-seat fan zone and catering outlets;
⚽️ a promenade and sky bar on the roof of the stadium, a new shop, a museum, as well as a 400-bed hotel and new reception areas;
⚽️ space for businesses to set up and collaborate with the club, City Football Group and Etihad Campus partners.
