Ligue 2 BKT: 8.5 million French people "interested" in AJ Auxerre (+100% compared to 2014)

"Nearly 8.5 million French people say they are 'interested' in AJ Auxerre, twice as many as ten years ago," according to AJA (Ligue 2 BKT) in a report dedicated to the evolution of its popularity published on 19/04/2024.

Other key points put forward by the Yonne-based club include:
• "1.4 million French people support the club (24% of whom live in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region) in 2023-24, 300,000 more than in 2022-23;
• 19 million people interested in football in France have a good image of AJA, 1 million more than the previous season;
• the club is perceived as 'friendly' (76%: +3% in one year), 'educational' (74%: +5%), 'dynamic' (63%: +6%) and 'prestigious' (61%: +3%);
• with an average attendance of 14,494 at Abbé Deschamps (82.4% occupancy rate), AJA is the 4^th club in Ligue 2 BKT on this indicator and the 3^rd in terms of number of TV broadcasts."
