Premier League: Betano (betting) main shirt sponsor of Aston Villa FC for 2024-25 & 2025-26

Betano, a sports betting operator owned by Greek group Kaizen Gaming, has become the main shirt sponsor of Aston Villa FC (Premier League) as part of a two-year agreement, for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons, announced the club on 22/04/2024.

Betano's logo will replace BK8, a Maltese sports betting operator specialised in the Asian market, whose contract with Aston Villa began in 2023-24 and was due to expire at the end of the 2024-25 season.

The partnership between Betano and Aston Villa will come to an end before the ban on English clubs using a sports betting operator as their main shirt sponsor comes into force from the 2026-27 season, according to an agreement reached between the Premier League clubs and the English league on 13/04/2023.

Betano, notably the main shirt sponsor of FC Porto (Liga Portugal Betclic), became a global sponsor of Euro 2024 (in Germany from 14/06 to 14/07/2024) on 30/11/2023.
