European Union: €132.7bn of revenue for the audiovisual market in 2013 (-0.4% compared to 2012)

The audiovisual market in the European Union generated €132.7bn in revenue in 2013, according to the 20th edition of "Yearbook 2014 - Television, cinema, video and on-demand audiovisual services - the pan-European picture" from the European Audiovisual Observatory, and published on 21/01/2015. This revenue is stagnant compared to 2012 (-0.4%), in which the audiovisual market generated €133.2bn.

European audiovisual groups concentrate 15.4% of the global market share in 2013. This is a 2% decrease compared to 2012. The US had the largest global market share with 68.8% in 2013.
