Premier League: a "grandstand mode" to show matches without commentary on Canal+ from 24/04/2024

The pay and free-TV group Canal+ has launched a "grandstand mode" in France to coincide with the end of the 2023-24 Premier League season.

This new mode will allow viewers to follow matches in the English league without commentary, so they can experience "the clamour of the fans and the fervour of English football". It will be officially launched for the Everton FC - Liverpool FC game (postponed game from Matchday 29), broadcast live on the pay-TV channel Canal+ Foot on Wednesday 24/04/2024 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).

Canal+ holds exclusive broadcasting rights to the Premier League in France for the 2022-2025 cycle, and extended them to 2025-2028 on 21/09/2023.
