2023-24 Serie A TIM: FC Inter Milan win their 20^th Italian league title

FC Inter Milan have been crowned 2023-24 Serie A TIM champions after beating AC Milan 2-1 on Matchday 33, on Monday 22/04/2024. The club have 86 points, 17 more than their Milanese neighbours, in 2^nd place on 69 points, and can therefore no longer be overtaken at the top of the table.

This is Inter Milan's 20^th Italian league title, having last won it in 2020-21.

The club's list of honours takes them one title ahead of AC Milan, who won their 19^th domestic trophy in 2021-22. In terms of the number of league titles won, Inter Milan are second only to Juventus FC, who lead the way with a total of 38.

Turin, Milan, Rome & Napoli monopolise the last 25 titles

• Since the start of the 1998-99 season, over the last 25 seasons in the Italian top flight, Juventus FC have won the most league titles (11), ahead of Inter Milan (7) and AC Milan (4).
  • Only four Italian cities have won the title over the period:

    • Milan (seven times with Inter Milan and four times with AC Milan)
    • Rome (twice with SS Lazio and once with AS Roma)
