Borussia Mönchengladbach: a turnover of €199.8m & pre-tax profit of €10.1m in 2023

Borussia Mönchengladbach (Bundesliga) posted a turnover of €199.8m for the 2023 financial year (01/01/2023 to 31/12/2023), up €22m on 2022 (€179.8m, +11%), announced the club on 22/04/2024. This is its second-best result, after the €213.1m generated in 2019.

"Following three years with enormous losses of revenue caused by the pandemic and its consequences, we're delighted to be able to report a significant profit again for 2023. Our income in all key areas has increased. We ended the 2022-23 with a new attendance record. We also made gains in sponsorship, which was a vital aspect behind the stabilisation of our finances," said Stephan Schippers, chief executive of Borussia Mönchengladbach.

In addition, the German club posted a pre-tax profit of €10.1m.
